Star Citizen Keybind Setup

The GameGlass Hub software automatically injects our keybind profile into Star Citizen on startup. No manual steps necessary. Simply select "GameGlass Keyboard 4.0" profile in game for the shards to work.

GameGlass Premium Shards use Star Citizen default keybinds when possible, however a number of controls are unbound in the game by default so you will want to enable our keyboard profile from the in-game menu to make sure every button will function as intended.

Note: Although there is a "GameGlass Keyboard" profile auto-installed by CIG this will not work for Star Citizen 4.0 due to a number of recent changes and thus a new XML profile "GameGlass Keyboard 4.0" must be applied.

The XML should be injected here:

(install drive)\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\LIVE \USER\Client\0\Controls\Mappings

This must occur before the game is run for Star Citizen to display the profile as an option in the appropriate menu.

Please note that our keybind file is automatically replaced with any future updates so do not modify our profile in-game or your alterations will be lost, if you want to create your own profile you can duplicate ours and then change the file name.

If for any reason you do not find the 4.0 XML you can download it from here and move it there manually instead:

https://download.gameglass.gg/keybinds/GameGlass-StarCitizen_4.0.xml

Right click within the page that opens and choose "save as" to download the file to your PC and then move to the folder path as shown above.

To change the keybind profile in-game first go to options from the main menu:

Next you will need to select the "keybindings" tab and then "advanced controls customization":

From here you will see "control profiles" and there can select the preconfigured "GameGlass Keyboard 4.0" profile and you're all set!
