Virtual Devices

Assign inputs from joystick, throttle, controllers etc.

Written by Chad Jacob

GameGlass allows you to assign inputs to a number of other peripheral types beyond just keyboard and mouse!

To use Virtual Devices, first manually toggle on each desired driver under settings to enable them:

Now from the GameGlass Forge actions editor you can assign device buttons or device inputs (axis controls).

For Device Buttons:

1. Select the peripheral device first (same as the one's you've enabled in settings)

2. Choose between press/release or just a press or release

3. Choose from the available buttons (there are 16 for controllers and 32 for all other peripheral types).

For Device Inputs:

1. Select the peripheral device first

2. Choose the axis direction (x, y, z, etc) or linear control (such as a slider or dial).

3. Next set the value % on the slider or enter it numerically (-100% to +100% for axis' and 0% to 100% for linear device.

4. Finally select if you want the movement position to be absolute or relative to the current value.
